2. Honey

Honey is essentially a mix of fructose, glucose and some alpha hydroxyl acids which can help to decrease unnecessary pigmentation which can result in your skin looking radiant and soft. In order for honey to work its magic put 1 tablespoon of it in a cup of lemon juice and mix well before application. 3. Aloe vera

Aloe vera has a compound called as aloin which stops the activity of tyrosinase thereby reversing the effects of excessive pigmentation resulting in skin becoming radiant again. In order to prepare the scrub extract gel from a leaf and mix tablespoon of gel with 1 teaspoon of brown sugar and leave it for 15 to 20 min on your face followed by washing with water. Use this mask two times in a week.

 

4. Yoghurt

Yoghurt has L-cysteine which is also a tyrosinase inhibitor thus helping reduce pigmentation thus getting rid of your dull skin. In half a cup of yoghurt mix a tablespoon of honey and apply on your face and leave it for 15 to 20 mins after which you can wash it off with water. Use this mask two times in a week.

 

5. Pineapple

Pineapple is a sulfur compounds containing fruit where the bioactive compounds having sulfur in them can decrease pigmentation by block tyrosinase activity. After blending one or two pineapples in blender add two teaspoons of gram flour and apply this paste on your face and wait for it to become dry. Afterwards wash it off with water. Use this mask once in a week.

 

6. Neem

Neem has tyrosinase blocking activity thus making it an ideal agent for brightening your skin. Make the perfect recipe by mixing 1 teaspoon honey in 3 to 4 tablespoon of yoghurt in fine paste prepared by grinding a handful of neem leaves in the mixer. You can apply this paste on your face and leave it there for 15 to 20 mins and then wash it off with water. Use this mask once weekly.

 

7. Cucumber

Cucumber is filled with bio active compounds and also a storehouse of Vitamin C which stops activity of tyrosinase which translates into reduction in pigmentation and return of radiant and glowing skin. You can apply paste of cucumber prepared by cutting a cucumber evenly in half followed by grinding it in a mixer and then mixing 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel into it. You can use this face mask once in a week.
